Dear wise internet,

I'm looking for a good, winter-weight duvet in a double. It can't be a down or feather type affair due to my asthma. I don't have a massive amount of cash to splash. Any recommendations? I don't really understand tog but I gather the more togs the better.

how many togs? I found a place online that'll do me 15 tog synthetic. Is that too many togs? We don't have a Primark in Edinburgh yet, do we?
