This according to my voice teacher, who I had a long talk with yesterday. He sees me as a person apart (apart from the people around me), despite my protests that I have many friends. I don't know where he's coming from. But he did say he thought I should become a writer. I'm not sure if that's because I've mentioned in passing my burning ( Read more... )

I thought too hard, and sang the wrong part. ("Never do anything different in performance that you've never done in rehearsal." I KNOW BETTER.) Second soprano instead of first soprano. This wouldn't have been so bad if there had been more students singing, but there was only one other first soprano. So I basically left her alone on that part, and she got confused and stopped singing, so that part of the song is worthless. I can only hope A&E uses another part of the song!!! :(

Sometime in April... if they even use it. It's for a biography of Mr. Rogers. They also took a few seconds of film on the mallet ensemble and interviewed both Doc (our conductor) and Dr. Crozier (Mr. Rogers' nephew!).
