While today didn't warrant any truly exciting and mysterious surprises for me as I took my usual run (although I am soo happy and proud to announce that I have now made it up to a gut wrenching four straight miles of jogging - And I have to admit, I TOTALLY did a little "jump up and down and let out a scream of victory" dance at the finish line

I didn't realize that all of the excitement in town was happening on the trails! My only question is this: Was the macho man and the svelte stranger in the earlier post (cue mystery solving music......here) the same person?!
Congrats on the four mile mark as well - it's always a great feeling when your body does something that you never thought it could do. I'm actually trying to get my body to store calories directly in my midsection (otherwise known as the beer belly section for those not in-the-know) and that seems to be coming along quite well. :(
