Suddenly losing your sight isn't the best of the surprises. Took me a while to find this journal. I hope it's the right one and not just another of my notebooks. I hope this won't last long. I find it quite unnerving.

That would have been amusing. Trying to communicate with someone and writing in a plain notebook instead. Suddenly, losing my sense of touch isn't so bad.

I think you just answered your own question. These journals do prove to be a little more than annoying gadgets now and again.
