The comment about warped lives made me think of fanfiction. Which made this experience doubly hilarious.

It was more a commentary on the typical comic fan reaction to the way the cartoon adaptation played out in comparison to the source material, but...yeah, it occurs to me it could basically mean the same thing.

...And now I feel strangely guilty. Hmm.
