updates on a lovely thanksgiving later. procrastinating sleep now. Final exams are coming up next week and then the monday after that is my last one. What a relief. I can't quite say whether this semester seems to have gone by quickly or slowly. All I can say is that I've gotten a taste of a nice break from school (no pun intended) and now I'm

I wish you and I were better friends. I feel like there is a lot of shared ground between us and a lot of things that I think I could learn from you. I always enjoy reading your LJ because it seems to echo my own experiences in words that are not my own, which is refreshing.

Your friendship with Taylor feels like mine with Matthew. We have been so close for so long, and now that he is in Nashville we don't see each other even when we should. Thanksgiving break? Nope. Fall Break? Nope. His weekends in town? Nope. I know that when we get together things will be just like they used to be, but it is hard to deal with the unwelcome thoughts that creep inside your head and tell you that you care much more about this relationship than the other person does. Is that where you are, too?

Let's just make through the next week. Let's do what we are supposed to do and get through it and never talk about it when we are done. It will be Christmas, and that is no time for exam talk.
