Let's just say it was a rough week.

Mon: .45 miles
Tues: .45 miles
Wed: off
Thur: .5 miles
Fri: off
Sat: off
Sun: 1.51 miles

So the .45 and .5 mile days were just warm up walks on the treadmill before my strength training workouts. I find I do a lot better with if I've warmed up a bit. And last week my daughter was out of town so getting out to go for a run wasn't happening with no one to watch my son (I'd rather cut off my arms than use the jogging stroller we have, it's terrible.)

Goals: well, to just keep moving. I was highly doubting myself an my ability to attempt this half marathon Nov. 24th. I still kinda am but with some advice from a few running friends, I'm going to continue my training with adjustments and will just walk the whole thing if I have to. But I honestly think after the Shamrock Half in March I'm done with the half marathon distance. The time commitment to training is just too much.

Agree 100% on the goal, the main thing is to keep moving, and than all things that seem impossible, will become possible.

And I agree with your running friends, don't doubt and don't give up, walk if necessary, but you can do the whole thing.

In the future if half seems like too much you can certainly focus on shorter distances, nothing wrong with that.
