Total: 56.6 miles

normally I do not mind treadmill, but 5 days in a row was a bit too much. luckily the weather improved, it got warmer and Sunday was nearly perfect: sunshine and 42 degrees

You know how sometimes once you get over one hurdle, another one is right there waiting to just blow up your life? So, I was all geared up to start training again on the 6th. And then January 7th I got into a bad car accident. I was at a stop light and this guy rear ended me going 50/55 mph and sent me straight into a tree. So now I have whiplash and a very sore back and I have to spend 6 weeks doing physical therapy. But it could have been so much worse. So the half marathon in March isn't happening. I went ahead and changed that registration to an 8k at the same event that weekend. No running for awhile but I can walk an 8k.

oh my god. so sorry to hear that

I agree that it could have been so much worse if he pushed you into traffic. I am glad to hear that none of that happened.

Still, it's a horrible accident.

I wish you a speedy recovery and hopefully you will be back running soon!
