I like his Columbia singles...but have you heard his albums from that period? Most of them are like Americana concept albums, about trains or working or something. About half of them are good, but the rest are really awful. Long Black Veil is probably my favorite song from that period.

I really enjoy the two prison albums but I guess they contain a lot of stuff from sun. I guess Johnny Cash is mostly just singles, did he even try to release albums? Orange Blossom Special is nice but half of the songs are Dylan covers. There's a DVD out ofJohnny Cash doing advertisments from trains. It's weird that he likes trains so much because his dad was almost beaten to death by train people several times.
