I was not here on LJ yet in 2001 (although I wish that I had been). I did not know you came so close to losing your dad. I'm so glad that you didn't, and at the same time so sorry that he has to live with the pain of so much loss. But he has you. That makes him very lucky indeed

How are your parents doing? That's the first thing I thought this morning when I woke up? I remember it like yesterday. I remember calling you all day to find out how you and your dad were.
