rightio The owner at Dunkin Donuts called me ma'am today. I was a little horrified as he is in his late 30's and I'm only 25...ma'am, seriously? I like miss. Hell, I think we should call even the older (like 75) miss, it makes a girls day. But ma'am? Seriously?

Watched Grey's last night and was hoping it would be just as good and low and behold, it ( Read more... )

I wouldn't go but that's just me. I've never gone to any of our after work functions because of my 2nd job, but there's always an e-mail that goes out for that stuff and it's sent to the whole department. If it weren't for my 2nd job - I still don't think I'd go.

Grey's - OMG. It's so weird to see them and have them not be interns anymore!! Poor Bambi.

Greys..I found that sooo funny especially the deer and Izzie. But the end, I did the whole hand to the mouth thats openly gaping. I was just glad that Lexie didn't become the third woman in Derek and Mere's little thing. Although last season Meredith annoyed me a bit with her whining..this season I hope she can grow up, ya know?

The deer was hilarious. My jaw dropped at the end too!! I wanted to say noooooooooooooo, but then I think I knew it was coming. There was something I had read online about the premier that said something about "knowing what was going to happen with the Mer/Der relationship" so I guess that was it!

Dude, it's your birthday, how hard is it to make up plans you have with family or friends to skip out?

I'm a big believer lately in doing what you do because you want to. Not because you have to, especially when there will be more trouble than not. (Of course some things I still do, like get up to go to work, or go to bowling, though I did skip the first week because I REALLY did not want to go) So don't go. It'll probably just be worse in the end, and if you don't go, the worst that will happen is you watch a great game on an awesome TV and be with people who always invite you places and WANT you to be there.

very true. I just don't want to be treated like further crap..then again, I was just talking to my boss and she advised it's not like I really want to go...ya know? Also, I think that if they wanted me there instead of telling me yesterday, they should have told me Wed. when they invited EVERYONE else...ya know? I'm not telling anyone here my birthday is this weekend.

I think you should be more concerned with how your bosses and people above view you. You've already said how they compliment you a lot and make points about how you don't get dragged into stuff with the other girls. It it really going to make it all better because you go this one time? Probably not.
