For how the entire 'wolf hiding under the illusion of a human' works and how it affects Toboe's interactions with his enviroment and the residents.

Tell me what the rain knows )

This little girl is a changeling and spends a good portion of her time as a small cat - probably smells like cat, too - and sees echoes of people's constant dreams/nightmares/obsessions. Where do you think she might stand? |D;

She'll be able to see the wolf then. Buuuuuuut Toboe dislikes cats 'cause they scare him. XD

Yes. Just cause I'm evil. See Toboe's face as he sees my gleaming whites? *evil smile*

Another borderline case here. Technically he is an animal, but that was a long time ago and he has no conscious memory of it.

*is also totally confused by the wolf-illusion thing... and is pretty sure she thought Toboe was a girl*

Ehhhh, radiation or whatever it is that turned you into a TMNT doesn't affect base DNA. So yeah, have a wolf.

...Uh, what else are you confused about? If you ask me I can try to clarify it for you. And yeah, he does look like a girl doesn't he? I think I heard a story somewhere about the artists mistaking him for a girl or something when they received the initial character designs...

Sweet. Does he see just a wolf, or a wolf with a sort of faint unconvincing human-illusion hovering over it?

Uh... how they pick things up without leaving teeth-marks all over them, how they talk, how they reach high-up objects... things of that nature. ^_^

I swear there was a token female in the pack when I watched it. Now I'm disappointed. :(

Uh uh uh uh..... lemme get back to that one on you. I'm trying to decide whether to let those that are just not comfortable with seeing Toboe as a wolf to see only the illusion, regardless of what they know about him. Because their mind has shied away from the wolf aspect of the kid, so to speak. What do you think?

Ahhh... yes. Another token example of how much the canon contradicts itself. The solution? Blame everything on the Malnosso, or accept the projection 'solid-ish illusion' thing I mentioned up there.

Yes there was a female, but she didn't join them until late in the series. It was a blue wolf, very creatively named 'Blue'. Remember her?

Er... what about undead cyborg demon penguins with the souls of sinful humans?

I mean, Kurtis was human, but he isn't really one any more. So I'm not sure if he'd see through the illusion or not.

Also, there's Guilt-na. She's a vampire, but in canon she always seems really terrible at seeing through illusions.

Uh... does he have any animal DNA in him? Human nonwithstanding? If no, then sorry, you get the pretty boy.

Um... pretty boy for the eyes, but Guilt-na might be able to snese something off about him?

Nah, no animal DNA. Demons normally have DNA, since they can have children, but Prinnies probably don't. They're just skins with shiny souls inside.

Have a pretty boy then. Unless he has any equipment that can sense heat signals or something like that?

**throws more borderline madness at you** 8D

Ginko can see mushi in his world-- which is the equivalent of being able to see ghosts/illusions/spirit energy. In Luceti canon, he can see through Aku's disguises, see Erim's goddess form, etc. He recognized Moro as a god right away.

So I'll leave how much he can see to your preference ^^

- While humans can see through the illusion, you'll also see the illusion. Like, you can choose to see him as a human or a wolf, whichever make you more comfortable.

Does this work? 8D

skyparasol will probably be able to realise he's not human but she's not the kind to probe. Yellow... might feel something's off with him.

Going to check with you here too! Um, Yellow has the ability to read thoughts/memories of pokemon something akin to telepathy as well as heal them... or synchronize her spirits to boost/elevate their powers. Can Yellow do this to Toboe?

runninghowling April 14 2010, 13:11:14 UTC
Well Toboe's not a pokemon, so I don't think so.

And yes I actually know the canon. XD

Oh! I'm sorry, I ended up making an assumption there.

The idea I had is that pokemon could translate in a panfandom game to creatures/animals in general. But okay o/

Well... can Yellow do that to any of the animals in Luceti?
