So I had a crazy week... Tuesday I decided to start the process, so I went down to the DMV and got my motocycle permit. It took a 30 min bus ride, a mile and 1/2 of walking, 2 and 1/2 hours of waiting at the DMV, and passing two written tests. Easy, huh? So I decided to celebrate by treating myself to a movie. It's funny to think about all the pages upon pages I've written on here over the years... part of me wants to go back to the beginning, to that first post. I can only imagine how little has changed in what? 5-6 years? I spent so much time complaining then about Anna, and my loneliness in general. So here we are again. A new year, a new begining. I was sitting around thinking about sending my grandmothers some photos, and I realized just how eventful 2008 was for me. So I've finished my first quarter at LLU. "you're all one quarter closer" our dept. head told us the last day of classes. I suppose that it's a bad thing that I think back "Oh god, only one quarter?!" I very much have a feeling of senioritis already. Here I am again, after how long? 6 months? I suppose that's a good sign. I made it though the rest of Italy, including the two week mad dash around Italy/Greece with the Bro. It wasn't the experience that everyone expects to get out of 4 months in Europe. It was really interesting hearing everyone talk about how Italy changed them. Some did things ( Read more... )
