My First (and last?) Play!

We opened last night! I was soooo nervous. And despite the stuff listed below, I think we actors did well, and the playwright liked us, and...well...here we go again tonight!

Some facts:
~It's a student-written one-act, averaging just under an HOUR

Sorry, I work in the real world - playwrights are at rehearsals all the time. And they should be. Unfortunately, your director doesn't know what he's talking about.

And you're right, telling the cast how WELL they're going to do is a little better motivation than telling them they'll sweat and blank out! :)

Awww thanks Tony! I really wish more professionals could tell him stuff like that- because he doesn't care what we have to say! He already got kicked out of an MFA program for acting, and now he's trying for directing. Good luck to him...(I'm getting mean now) Anyway, you should come to the show and have a DUEL! (Except coming to the show would probably prove a waste of your time...) Well thanks for what you said, and I'll be sure to pass it on to the playwright!
