If anyone's interested, the shuttle launch tonight (hopefully, weather permitting) -- is being broadcasted off of the Nasa website: Here. It's supposed to take off in about an hour (9:30 EST I beleive).
However it's just because I'm a geek, I like blowing stuff up, lighting things on fire, making medievel weapons (mwahaha), and generally. That. kind of thing. Yep. Also I'm an astronomy nerd, so there's that too.
lol, seriously I have no clue. I'm watching and technically it says like -20:00, and it's 8:30. Except they just had a 10 minute hold on the countdown.
Why is there a hold on a countdown? Why not just add ten minutes to it?
Yeah, the link I posted up top, goes to a page where you can watch everything, which they occasionally say what the countdown is at/showing the countdown clock. With interviews and the whatnot, but mainly just what's going on, and hearing them doing checks and the whatnot over the radio.
