I was talking about this at length yesterday. I woke up yesterday morning at 5:30a.m., early enough to go running, but I heard rain against the window and checked the radar and realized it was better to just stay in bed. On Sunday, I ran the Army 10 Miler here in Arlington, Virginia.  Well, I guess I should say it starts in Arlington, goes into DC, and then comes back to Arlington.  This was my 19th race run, unless I have miss one somewhere, which I think is a definite possibility.  I'm used to smaller races - races ranging from a few hundred people to a few ( Read more... )

Okay, as previously discussed, on Saturday I realized my back was in pain, and not very long afterwards, it was in excruciating pain. Well, as quickly as it arrived, it is gone now. Yesterday afternoon, it all want away. Very conveniently too because my near-6-year-old insisted on being picked up. So today I went out and ran a quick six miler ( Read more... )
