I...kind of think that maybe Elizabeth Bear occasionally writes (or at least reads) fanfiction? Wait, yes: she has a fanfiction tag. I knew I was not making this up.

Anyway, not that this necessarily means anything, just that I'm not surprised that she "gets" a slash-oriented review. *g*

Oh man, she posts slash to her LJ. That's just fantastic! How did I miss this? Usually fandom's all over promoting fanfic writers gone pro. I only picked the book up because I'd been reading Sarah Monette's Melusine series.
