i've never heard of the books, but this is one goodlooking cast. pretty sure i would watch this show ;)

you should definitely check out the books if you've read The Princess Diaries, it's sort of a similar concept :)

Ah, I just finished watching The Boat That Rocked, and Tom Sturridge was fantastic in it. You're right about casting Marcus Flutie- everyone who has read the book has a very specific idea of what he looks like, so it's hard to cast him, but I think Sturridge would be able to convey his contradictory personality very well.

I think so too. Marcus has way too many layers but I think Tom would do a pretty solid job of doing so and I really need to see The Boat That Rocked!
