...but sometimes I worry about who reproduces in this country. I mean... even from a spelling/grammatical standpoint, this worries me. But then there's the content. I'm terrified.

my thought was that they were joking as well, but Brian said that the post had been deleted so I think someone was really embarrassed by their question, if it had been a joke it would have stayed up, though did you see how many replies the person got? Really sad!

actually, the saddest thing is that people took it seriously enough to respond with a correction to his geography.

when people stop feeding, the trolls will stop trolling.

and when people care enough about the business practices of the places they shop to stop going to the ones who are bad, those places will shape up.

Funny how often the solution to a problem isn't something that requires effort. It just requires you leave the offenders to their own devices.

Upon telling many of my friends at work, most of them replied that they didn't know that there *is* a country named Georgia, and were in mass confusion as to why it therefore wasn't bigger news.

I honestly don't know if that was a troll. Truly.

Actually depending on how old you are and how thoroughly you were taught or paid attention in school...you may not know the geography of that region because of the Soviet Union. I do think I was in college before I knew about the country of Georgia, we never talked about Russia or the former soviet countries in junior high or high school. I can't tell you what all the countries are off the top of my head but I am aware enough to recognize when someone is talking about one of them. It would help people in genereal if they actually paid attention to the news was saying or read the articles, they would catch themselves from asking ignorant questions.
