As I understand it, we have all undergone the effects of a "curse week" in which strange phenomena strike. This one seems to have made us into characters out of a game, complete with classes and different abilities. Everyone affected has lost their old clothing for the time, if that's the issue you're currently bothered by.

...You may find that you're unable to get any ordinary clothing, either. I attempted to switch to a different outfit, and it simply became other outfit like this one.

It seems to, yes. The quests, monsters, and unusual abilities are certainly in keeping with the video game I am familiar with. These floating bars of information above our heads is a novel experience however.

I suppose magic of this caliber cannot be maintained for very long, although if it was performed by a god then I would not be surprised if it did happen to last longer than a week.
