yes, yes, we went off to the gender-appropriate restrooms and lost our position near the two of you before the show started. trying to get there, some guy who was probably a dad in his early forties, totally solid in his stance said, "YOU'VE GOT TO GO THAT WAY I'M NOT MOVING," and he didn't. and we didn't, because it was the opposite direction, but WHATEVER, man. it's impossible to be cool and be a dad at the same time. just kidding. my dad talks to me about cool music sometimes.

Wowies, I can't believe you got so close!!! I saw The Hives in AUS about....maybe 4 years ago and there were about a bazillion people there and it was an outdoor concert and all I could see were tiny stickmen in suits jumping around the stage. So I am extremely jealous.
