I care but i don't think i am fully equipped to debate against the likes of them though. However, since it's just a dialogue session, I would be very interested in hearing personally what there is to be said that we don't know already. So yeah if you're going and there's a spare seat, why not? Thanks!

Check out the ST article pertaining to this topic on page 3 of the Home section. Amolat Singh and Michael Hor, inter alia, questioned the rationale for not decriminalising consensual homosexual activity. Thumbs up to them man. The continued existence of that section IMHO just screams discrimination and marginalisation.

Also, just learnt the other day that the compulsory criminal law module for year ones in the NUS law faculty has been bifurcated. Judging from Kumar and Michael Hor's views in the media, I suspect the split is due to irreconciliable differences as to how criminal legal doctrine should be taught. Methinks Kumar represents conservatism while Michael Hor represents an unabashedly reformist POV - and proud of it. Personally, I prefer Michael Hor's views - they are definitely fairer.

It is simply. They don't want to sound like encouraging homosexual. They "afraid" that by including homosexual in that context, will encourage more people to "become homosexual".

Once again, they still think that it is "a choice" made by people.
