The kid is a homunculus, has highly questionable birth circumstances, is a huge fanboy of his dad and other notable epic historical figures, looks exactly like not!wife Saber, and is a HUGE BRAT. …Still, he’s got potential, is Saber’s son, and if not out of sheer boredom, Gil’ll take care of the kid. May or may not include bedtime stories involving historical myths and lores, going out drinking behind Saber’s back, and occasional much-needed spanking when mommy dearest is looking elsewhere.

Being a reaper should normally auto-warrant Grell a spot on Gil’s blacklist - but this one is unique. Let it be good or evil, Grell revels in chaos, and while the man’s obsession with the female gender is obnoxious to the point of disgusting, this flamboyant reaper is definitely entertaining. And that makes him tolerable, to an extend - the Death Scythe chainsaw is laughable, so if it must come down to it, he'll have no qualms sending the death god to Death itself.

Got screwed over by ‘god(s)’ during their actual era and henceforth hate their guts? Check.
Epic trolling douchebags of their respective canon? Check.
Think- no, KNOW that they’re better than everyone else? Check.
Super-well hidden BAAAAAAAAW MY BROTHER ;_; complex? Check.
Naoya and Gil are like kindred spirits. …As kindred as you may be when you have a personality like THEIRS, anyway. They clicked right off the bat, matching each other through their histories, arrogance, and of course, a common fondness for their dear little brother - and there’s probably more to be listed. If nothing else, one thing is for certain: this bodes well for no one.
HOWEVER.
Naoya is an idiot and a pussy. :| Not on speaking terms much right now. He annoys Gil with his stupidity. The guy really doesn't know what he wants, does he?

A mongrel young boy who had the good fortune to start on Gil’s ‘good’ side, just for being Naoya’s younger brother. It soon becomes rather obvious that the kid is more on the naïve and derpy side, and is in constant need of being put back in line/guided into things by his older brother, who is just superior and more experienced in ever way possible (unlike his own relation with Enkidu, where they stood on equal grounding on every field). Still, nice kid and not too troublesome - just. Not very bright. …Which is fine. Yep.
Turns out kid's king of Bel. Will lead a demon army to kill God in order to save humans.

Kid's going down the same road as Saber. ...Except even WORSE.

Loki is bearable for a god for the simple reason that he is the one who ultimately screwed all the other Aesir over, for he triggered Ragnarok. The trickster's whorish reputation is legendary, but that only made him more entertaining.
And he knew Naoya! And he actually arrived to Somarium!
...It's just a pity that the Trickster has taken an unhealthy liking to Saber, which will surely warrant him at least one death by Gil's hand got him killed once by Gil already. And twice after Loki said something else! None of the two remembers why exactly, though. Just that it was fun, well enough.
Currently the single person who can be qualified as a FRIEND to the King of Heroes. :|;; Also the one being who understands him BEST, scary enough. The camaraderie that these two hold is special.
