I know I've mentioned this before, but I miss dancing. I miss the "excuse" to dress up more often. Sometimes when I watch Gypsy 83 I feel this little tug in my chest, like, "Oh yeah, I used to want to get out of small towns." But that usually fades away after I turn off the TV

Hmmm...
My local Boots never stocks the blue-black hair dye.
The nearest place I have seen a proper goth is in Rhyl.
No 'scene' as such although we are getting some good gigs (not necessarily goth though) in Llandudno. Chester has a place where goth is mixed with dance if you pick the right night (hit and miss, though).
Nearest alternative shops are in Rhyl and Wrexham meaning at least a half day out (not all bad).
All remnants of the goth scene in Rhyl has been obliterated by the chavs.
On the flip side:
Our town *looks* like it should be a goth haven. Perhaps I should try to resurrect a scene here?
