But no Dead Alive? I think it's awesome that you used their song (You Spin Me) as your post title, as it was used in an Adam Sandler movie and I'm listening to the 311 cover of the Cure's "Lovesong", which was also used in an Adam Sandler movie. I wonder if that that counts as synchronicity?
Haha, actually, "You Spin Me" got stuck in my head right after I posted, because I used it as the entry's title! =)
I definitely think it counts as synchronicity, especially since about five minutes previously I was viewing a trailer for Adam Sandler's new movie, "Bedtime Stories"! Craziness!
I just saw the trailer to "Bedtime Stories" while at a bookstore earlier today! I was cracking up at the rainstorm of M&Ms but hopefully didn't draw too much attention to myself. (At least, not any more than I was already generating by being out in public alone, and as a white person at that.)
One of my recent downloads is a CD with a swing version of "Crazy In Love" that you might like. Would you be interested in a link to the song?
I really want to see Bedtime Stories more and more every time I see a trailer or advertisement online... It looks like so much fun... But somehoe I don't think I'll be seeing many movies in the theatre for awhile, unless I go to them without Eric. I don't trust anybody else with Felicity yet, not even either of her sets of grandparents. Plus, I don't know if I could enjoy a movie while constantly worrying about her. Which is sad, because I want to see Marley and Me as well, since it's one of my favorite books... Sigh.
Oh, and I'm most definitely interested in the song!
Definitely find a recording, it's one of my all time favorites!
Since the novel was never finished, the musical is unfinished as well. The cast has to memorize different endings because the audience gets to vote who the killer is, and then they perform that! It's amazing!
