Okay, ladies, I've got a question. I'm giving serious consideration to going back to Japan to teach. My mom pointed out that it sounds like running away. Am I doing this because I’m dissatisfied with myself? Partly, yes. But there are other, generous perks to going back to Japan. And I know my dissatisfaction will follow me to Japan. But

I wouldn't have posted here if your opinion didn't matter. I miss you and your sound advice. :) I actually got a phone call from a recruiter today so I might be staying the states after all. A friend of mine from Japan gave him my name. He recruits for Japan-based companies or companies with a large Japanese clientele. He said he might have a couple of positions for me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If I stay in the states, I won't have to give up my kitties (Japanese rent-controlled housing is notoriously anti-pet) and I'll be near my family and friends. If you have the time, will you come see me, even if I'm here in Kentucky? It's been forever and I'd love to catch up. I definitely want to hear more about law school and how everything else is going!
