I loved thiiis ;u; Like I told you before, I felt that I was reading a sort of ancient myth, or the very same Genesis book. Just how the first books of the bible were written as an order from idk what king or ruler, so his people knew supposedly how everything happened, and they would go back to the "right" path, this was like Arthur and Alfred telling their story to their people. That way they'd know how it all happened, and more importantly why it happened. It was meant to be, like it said in the last part, they were meant to fall in love, and by falling in love, they changed everything.
Also d'aaaw Alfred, going through all of that so he could offer Arthur a red rose. Precious boy <3 And he was very smart here, I liked it. Not only the way of approaching Arthur was smart, but also the talk he gave to Yao at the end. He really knew what to say.
I'm really glad you liked the fic. I had a great time writing the creation myth, cause I've wanted to write something like this for a long time. Now I had a chance and I'm surprised it's so well-received <3
Ahha, I said I would comment and.... well i never said I would but here you go 8D:
This is what i hoped it would be and more ;u; I loved reading the whole background and history of spades. And also the part about why King and Queen couldn't fall in love, although it was heartbreaking. It make me wonder... what if King and Queen of Spades of the past fell in love but never acted on it because they thought they couldn't? ;7; And then Al and Artie came along... *v*
I hoped that after Arthur said ""It is as impossible as there is a chance for a red rose to bloom." that Alfred would make it come true... ;u; and he did... you're awesome for that ;u; <3
I love that Love can change an entire Kingdom's way of thinking and I was hoping that Yao really wasn't THAT set to the kingdom's old way of thinking.... It's only right that he should be like the King and Queen and think otherwise *v* <3 And just... YAY for the other kingdom's standing up for Al and Artie.
Overall... I love it Poppet.. It's an awesome story ;w; <3
Actually, I've had the same thought before. That there might have been previous Royals who happened to have had feelings for the other (brotherly, romantic, etc.) but never had the courage to let the public know.
No problem at all! I'm glad you actually got to read it *u* I really had fun with your prompt.
The myth took a whole night to write but I can't deny that I enjoyed making everything up. Good thing you like how it turned out!
Characterisation is always a point where I begin to sweat, because I'm always unsure and kind of paranoid about it. I'm always afraid to get the characters wrong, but I'm relieved you're satisfied with the boys <3<3
I really wish I could have proper words to express myself here, but you've really left me speechless.
Regrettably, I don't think I've ever read your stories before. If I have, I certainly haven't commented on them.
This was amazing. I will be reading more of your work, that's for sure. You have a wonderful style and a gorgeous flow. I was on edge at the end and I cheered for them, getting lost in the emotions. For a story that was meant to be based on emotionless royalty, this story had a lot of heart.
Thank you very much! There's only so much flattery that I can handle *fans self*
I normally post my stories on ff.net (not that I have many in the first place) but I'm too happy to know that I have one new reader. One that I myself admire even.
It was a pleasure to write this cardverse oneshot. And thank you again.
You admire me? Really?! Oh wow. But you're so talented! I don't think I've seen you leave me a review before. (If you have and I don't remember, I'm so terribly sorry.)
I'm on ff.net too. What's your name? :3
If you ever feel the need to write cardverse, please do! Lol.

To put it bluntly, this was beautiful.
