Rain tapped at DeVont's office window the next morning. Viper was stuck, once again, under a few miles of paperwork - under of which he found the folded letter. He read it over for the second time, sitting back in his chair, before reaching for his watch to com Rusti

Rusti if I could see you in my office...

He didnt sound pleased, but he didnt sound pissed over the coms. Ge got up from his desk and moved some of his papers off his desk, and to the floor next to his PC tower, and moved over to make some coffee at the other side of his office

Oh boy, this should be a good time, was the thought that filtered through Rusti's mind. She laid down the firearm she'd been repairing and headed on down to Viper's office.

Once there, she leaned on the doorframe and crossed her arms before stepping inside. "If you're going to fire me, shoot me now, because I really don't want to leave. If you're just going to scream, tell me now, and call me back in when you've settled down. If you really intend to work this out, I'll spring for your dinner at the most expensive Italian place you can find," she said softly. "Because I'm fed up with fighting, and catching your temper."

leans back in his chair, watching Rusti's expression before he speaks

"You think shooting someone, especially yourself, would solve anything? And if you're going to treat me to an Italian dinner, it better be down in LA. No place up here cuts it, if you want my opinion." he pauses a moment, leaning over his desk, resting his elbows on the egde of his desk "And I dont give anyone tempers, babe. Only you allow it upon yourself, not me." He leans back in his chair once again, taking a moment to sip a little coffee from his black PFT mug.

"And my ears are open if you wish to settle this mascarade of hormones. Its not in our best interest to keep finding ways to shoot eachother down whenever we are within 200 feet of eachother."

"So, it's my fault if I get snapped at after I ask you a question....how again?" She stayed in the doorway, arms still crossed. "That only makes a stubborn ass like me defensive and combative, you know. I just want you to stop threatening me, even in that random, roundabout way you do it. I'm not really up to challenge you for anything, but I'm definately going to stand my ground.

"And the same goes for when you roll your eyes about something I don't know/haven't learned yet. Don't do that. Just show me what I'm doing wrong. Rolling your eyes at me just frustrates and infuriates me and goes right back to that stubborn, defensive, combative position."
