In my honest opinion, you've done an outstanding job with all three characters but especially Chloe. Your Chloe is no longer the lost girl we saw at the beginning but has really grown into her legacy (alien and father alike). You have kept a good balance between the romantic aspect of the story and the general one.

I adore your Eli. xD So confused and freaked out but kinda adorable - very in-character! <3 And it's really believable that he'd be one of the first to accept a relationship between Rush and Chloe.

The idea of Chloe trying to persuade Rush via a paper with the pros and cons is brilliant and probably the only to get through Rush. :P

I cannot wait to read your other strories! We're realyl lucky to have you onboard. ♥

Thanks so much for your comment. I'm always nervous about my first fic for a new fandom, so hearing I did well really helps.

Anyway, I'm really glad you liked my take on the characters. Since this is supposed to take place in a hypothetical season three, we have two seasons worth of character development to work with and Chloe was from the very beginning trying to be useful in some way. I'd like to think that in the late season 2, she was finding her niche and I went from there.

As for Eli, it has been said again and again that he and Chloe are best of friends and Eli is the type to stand by his friends. Besides, he's one of the few people to know Rush in a more personal way than just a colleague.

And Rush, well, I think he would be very of any new romantic relationship, regardless of the other person's identity. But he's very logical, so a logic is the way to go.

New Crush fic is so exciting! I think you've done some great work here, blending the romance, science, and humour very well. Chloe is wonderfully matter-of-fact, while Rush is appropriately gruff. I can easily imagine their off-screen argument from what you've written. And then there's Eli, who is adorable in his confusion. His final exchange with Rush is so very in character for both of them and deliciously funny.

I look forward to reading your other works! Great job.

well, I figured that if I can write fics for a show that is 15 years over, I can write some for one that is only 3 years old.

Hey, I'm so glad to see new fic here. I still love Crush and check in every once in a while to see what's new. I really liked your fics, you are so in character with both Rush and Chloe. Rush is great to write, so many layers to the man. Anyway, welcome and I hope to see more Crush fic from you. You do a great job.

P.S. If you are a Robert Carlyle fan and haven't seen his latest work, he is now playing Rumpelstiltskin on ABC's Once Upon A Time. The first season is available to instant stream from Netflix. It is great mainly because of Mr. Carlyle who is absolutely amazing in the role.

Thank you very much. I consider characterization to be one of the most important aspects of fanfics so hearing/reading I kept the characters IC makes me really happy.

Actually, I happened to watch SGU because I had already seen OUAT and wanted more Carlyle. I used to be a Stargate fan years back but stopped watching around Season 7 of SG-1, though SGU rekindled my interest in the franchise and I caught up on all three series in the past half-year. OUAT is also one of the reasons I haven't updated any Crush fics in a while - too busy writing and plotting Rumple-centric fics.
