1) Market Rigging and False Trading. We went though some of the rules governing market conduct in one of my classes last week. It is an interesting class that touches on aspects of trusts, wealth preservation and securities markets law. The instructor that teaches the seminars on securities market law seems to like to pick on me -- it is a small ( Read more... )

1) I couldn't decipher nor decode what you spoke in class. Couldn't be bothered! lol, but your instructor is really one bitch... so duh... slam her during evaluation lor. lol :P
2 & 3) I used to love trance music, but decided it was a little too noisy for my life and I never went back listening to it.. haha... PVD, Tiesto and Armin were my favourites too... =)
4) yes people on the blogopshere often judge people's character based on what they pose on their blogs. I think you cannot escape that. I have that problem too... I have friends asking why am I always so angsty all the time. But often that personality on the blog is either a facade or just too biased/skewed to reflect reality...

she only picks on the "lawyers" and awards them full participation. then she looks down the length of her nose at the rest of us.

Is it possible to politely refrain from the discussion so that she couldn't pick on you? Or if it's not possible, say something boring and not-so controversial?

"participation points" is a lie. It's there for professors to practice favoritism.

I think the fact that I'm in my last semester has started to translate to me being ever more snarky in class. When the prof (i.e. my strat prof, who is DENSE) doesn't interpret what I say in the correct manner, I will sit there and correct him. And he'll go off on another tangent. And I'll be like, no, I mean this, and then eventually he'll get it, and I'll say, yes, that's what I said earlier. Meh. Whee 10 more weeks! :D

But I've noticed that favoritism for law students in some of my other classes, and that opinion seems to be shared by a large number of the law students themselves. Bit snotty. A few of them seem to be impressive, but not terribly many.

And yay, blog more!
