Today, my grandma very loudly asked at lunch if I had a "boyfriend or girlfriend" that I wanted to bring to my mum's birthday party this weekend.

dunno if my grandma was asking about a platonic friend or the BOY-friend or GIRL-friend as perceived... I tend to think she just means to invite my close group of friends that I hang out with.

in any case, there's no HIM to bring along.

i really can't tell if my grandma is asking what I'm thinking she's asking. but its kinda clear since i've never had a girlfriend and i'm already getting Old.

not the first time this has happened. it's getting more frequent now. every big family event this year so far she has sounded out. (and LOUDER each time).. gaaahh! my time is running out.
