It wasn't that I'm older. That really was a awful movie.
Did you just discover quinoa? I've been eating it off and on for twenty years. I remember when Sue discovered it....that and her hockey-puck chapatis. It's highly overrated nutritionally, but a lot of people say they like it.

no i ate it in berkeley, have you ever had the black. hey, new spice store in the south bay, forgot the name, it's supposed to be... fab. hmm i thought it was good stuff, better than rice and all that. high fat content? i liked d and d, better than, say, doom. poky chuck hapatis sound interesting, heh. aiight, i swear.

She made awful, awful chapatis, and cooked quinoa and served that with yogurt and black beans as dinner. Urp. One of her less memorable masterpieces.

the spice store has imported vietnamese cinnamon. i'm there. we should go sometime, it's in torrance or something like that. drive here, i'll drive us there. it would be very oinkay, and while we at it, sushi in manhattan beach would be nice, they have mirugai, which we only like to look at.

damn i wish i could remember the name. it's in this week's la weekly which i forgot to pick up. the spice store is outta wisconson, of all placed, think they have online stores. i'll fin dout.

Quinoa sounds like something I need. I'm trying to add more protein to my diet.I did low card all day yesterday and lost a 1/2 inch in my waist. I felt really light and not bloated like I usually do. The slow down diet book I'm reading mentioned that if you overeat carbs it makes your body think it's an endless summer and it's a time for storing fat for the winter. I wonder if quinoa is high in fat? If it's a seed it seems like it would be.

Oh, haha, you hated it, that's funny. It was defnitely missing something vital, I left the theater thinking, "well, that was kind of a waste" and "huh?".

Funny, D said he mostly liked it up until the end, which he hated. I thought there were some decent parts, but that it mostly dragged. Twist endings get old.
