  • The collective has a new Parasyte layout!
  • The header here as been updated to match.
  • I've been thinking about different ways to have the network flow as one site, and I think this layout will help. All of the site-related essentials as well as information on the layout can be found at "Machine".
Special thanks Nori for her immense help with ( Read more... )

I like this approach to navigating your collective: everything is upfront and accessible. The light look is nice for spring, as well (I always think in seasons, I guess.)

Was sorry to see Silent Lucidity was gone, but I understand the reasons. Feels like all the sites that remain are essentially complete.

Thanks! I didn't think of making a light layout for Spring. I just was tired of the dark one and wanted a change... lol, Guess it worked out.

Yep, exactly! They'll all receive updates in the future (Drew Barrymore will for sure), but if I didn't update them, they'd be fine. That's the difference between them and what was Silent Lucidity. Silent Lucidity will return in some form or another, as I have to have something to Battlestar Galactica, but when it does, it will have a tighter purpose, and be complete.

Very nice :) yeah, I would say it's more organized like this; that's what I like about this type of layout - you don't really have to do any hunting around, lol.

Thanks! Yeah, lol, I like getting lost in sites sometimes, but I feel like a collective shouldn't be one you get lost in. Collectives essentially exist to showcase our sites, and they should be as accessible as possible, in my opinion. I know you, Karen, Shiori, Destinie, and others already started showcasing your sites like this. I'm late to the party, but I'm glad I did it. :D

No, well, I do like to get lost in sites...when their organization is still logical, though. Being one who visits the same sites over and over again, I don't like to go there thinking, I want to find [this thing] and having to spend fifteen minutes before finding out that it was in a secret sub-sub-menu XD

Looks great, Todd! I really like the colors. It makes me think of melting ice, so I agree with Karen about the spring-y feel. :)
