Yeah, last semester I carried around my pink Moleskine like it was the Bible and wrote in it like a moody hipster. It does some good for the soul. Even if you look back on it in say a couple of weeks, months, years and have a good laugh or go "aww man, i remember that. it was a real shit time."
As for reading material for the new Lani... For fluff, read some Meg Cabot. She always makes me laugh. Try Boy Meets Girl. For classic, hrmmm depends what you want. Right now, I'm writing a paper on Elizabeth Barrett Browning who was a boss. She's a Victorian poet though, if that's to your taste. As for "religious" reading material...I give shit advice, but I read Mere Christianity by C.S.Lewis and it was amazingly good and really thought provoking.
So yeah. I'm glad you're back. We need to skype date sometime. Or we can just wait and chat in person! 2ish weeks left for me! Yay!
