I'm glad ME3 was fun, although sorry about the ending. I'd heard it was a bit annoying although have never played so I don't know anything about it!

...I'm distracting myself from the wreck that is British politics (and, more specifically, the Liberal Democratic party*) by playing 360 games. Lots of them.

*I know, why don't I just support Labour? But whenever I consider it, I think of extraordinary rendition, and the breaches of manifesto policy over tuition fees, and the Iraq war, and the fact that the Labour candidates in my area are as bad as the Tories...and I can't do it.

...And yes, I realise that this is entirely the wrong icon to use.

The endings are anti-climatic. But I'd have been able to live with that, if they hadn't decided to drag one of the antagonists in from the book series (which I haven't even read, because I don't consider them canon) and decided that he'd just God Mode Sue his way through certain cutscenes.

I don't consider that good writing. I didn't consider it good writing when Sephiroth did it, and that was 15 years ago (and I may have also been about 8).

...I don't know if you'd like Mass Effect.
