Ru,

If you had not made this post, I would not have assumed that the person Xq was talking about was you (he is currently in hospital, and will be out next week).

I think you're too concerned with 'saving face'. It's an Asian thing, something I can understand well. But you know, Xq doesn't have *that* many readers...and I am one of them, and I did not think about you when I read it. So there's no issue of needing to save face.

huh? What do you mean? What does it have to do with saving face? Who needs to "save face"? I certainly don't need to. If I needed to, I would friend lock this instead of making it public. There is nothing I'm afraid to show to other people. Such "saving face" things might be a concern for some Asians in some culture, but it is not in my "operation manual". I hope you were not influenced by other people to think that I'm a person who concerns about saving my own face ( ... )

There is no way you can ban only one person on LJ from commenting.

No, it still wasn't obvious that it referred to you. He could have had a girlfriend who does not have LJ and was referring to her in second person. People sometimes do that in their diaries.

I am not here to judge who is right or wrong -- I just don't think that the entry makes you out to be 'the devil' as you said here. I might be mistaken, but I doubt even those who recognized it to be you would leave unpleasant messages.

I'll admit one thing -- I am biased. I hang out more with Xq than with you online, so I tend to think more kindly of him.

The thing that bugs me is this -- Xq doesn't always make the right decisions, but he has a good heart. And your reply to him comes at a bad time, when he is in hospital. To me this is over-reacting, because like I said before, and maybe I am wrong, but to me the entry could have referred to anyone.

(Rushita!

I know the situation is a bit grave, but I just wanted to say HELLO! I hope you're doing well - beyond this, which I don't really understand but it's not really my business - and I miss you! Keeping good thoughts for you!

Goddess, I miss you too. I still read your LJ whenever there is an entry, although most of the time I don't understand them. I'm doing well, life is very busy and has a totally different priority and focus when you have children.

ChildREN? Plural!? Ahh, you have to tell me what ages! Last I remember, you were pregnant with your first! (And don't worry about understanding my LJ posts... I tend to write when I'm feeling upset or when I want to put something inspirational up. I have a feeling they just confuse most people. x.X) I'm glad to hear you're doing well though <3 I can't believe how many years it has been!

Actually, I only have 1 daughter. "Children" in plural was just a general statement that applies for all mothers with any number of child....
