I've been in a bit of a creative slump recently because there have been a lot of things going on (our family cat died after 17 years, our house flooded and went through over three months of repairs, and I've been struggling with some health issues), but I'm starting to feel that spark of wanting to create something new once again

Is that the original story that you wrote about a decade(at least!) or so ago? I quite liked that one...also, did you put your fanfiction up on Archive of Our Own? (And if you didn't, could you pretty please do so?)

Yes, that's the one! It's gone through quite a few revisions since then, and there is a sequel to it now as well called The Ouroboros Prophecy. I consider this novel my first real introduction to writing original fiction, and I have MAS-Zine to thank for it. :)

That is a very good question about AO3. I seem to remember that my stories were up there, but it's been a while since I've looked. I will definitely check and make sure they are uploaded soon if that hasn't already been done.
