Two books that helped me achieve normal heart function after a virus sent me into CHF were Donald A. Gazzaniga's, The No-Salt, Lowest-Sodium Cookbook and The No-Salt, Lowest-Sodium Baking Book. From Gazzaniga, I learnt about the Healthy Heart Market, a good source of low-sodium staples. Perhaps you'll find these resources of use; good luck to you!
