The Australians I met during my exchange in Paris did have an awful time dealing with the Parisian winter :) It's absolutely lovely here in Buenos Aires lately... average of 10C during the day, colder at night. Charmingly Autumn-like.
haha yeah, some Aussies hate the cold. I enjoy the winter though. Well... Aussie winters that is! It's the heat that I can't stand... anything over about 30 is too hot for me. Yuk! 10 degrees in Autumn is beautiful though...crisp, but lovely. Enjoy it. :D
Here in New Jersey USA we are welcoming Spring. Our Saturday should be 15 C with the sun poking in and out. The daffodils and forsythia are blooming, the trees are just beginning to bud.
Yes indeedy... isn't it funny how everything here related to Easter is still Spring-themed... LOL just the same way as you can see Winter themed Christmas cards here I guess... haven't they heard!? XD Makes me laugh.
And your weather sounds lovely at the moment... not so different from ours either - 'tis currently 15 C here too. A bit of a grey day but the temp is very nice...no need for a jacket today. The weather is teasing us!
Hmm, that?s some cool information. I would search on Google to find other relevant articles. Actually, I came across your blog on Google Blog Search. I?m going to add your RSS feed to my reader. Continue posting please!
The weather here in LEICESTER in ENGLAND is really warm for springtime and it makes a nice change from the rain although I love the rain.It must be great to live in AUSTRALIA. I love everything about AUSTRALIA and especially GEOFFREY RUSH. It is a country that I would love to visit because of all the beautiful places that you have over there including the beaches.
Hiya :D Oooh Leicester... I didn't get there when I was in England... I think the closest I got was Northampton (not a very exciting city is it?), Stoke On Trent and Cheltenham (I thought Cheltenham was pretty nice, the architecture was lovely). Not that close to you... but still, Aussies are used to wide open spaces... heh, takes forever to travel anywhere in Aust! My relatives live down south - in Berkhamsted, Herts, and before that in Gerrards Cross in Bucks... so we spent most of our holiday time down south... in Portsmouth, Plymouth, Oxford, Bath etc. I adore Portsmouth - the dockyard was amazing with all the famous old ships and the museum. I also love, love, love Bath - it's wonderful!
Dont really go out of LEICESTER but I know these places exist. The furthest I ever travelled was to FRANCE when I was 13 years old and went with the school. Was a nice place but didnt really enjoy it very much because I was very homesick and just wanted to go home so I was pleased when we got home. It was an experience that I never forgot although it might have been better if I had gone there with my family instead.Still I am 48 years old now and would love to travel especially to AUSTRALIA but being out of work it may never happen but I have books to look at and I watch the soaps NEIGHBOURS and HOME AND AWAY so will just have to be happy with that.
