Chyort voz'mi! The panel shorted. It was repaired soon enough, but this means I miscalculated something. I will have to go over everything again before Mr. Scott allows me near the transporter. At least the formula for the coordinates seems to be reliable, if nothing else.

ic, everybody's working for the weekend, in russia failure is you

Most of it, yes. I do not know where the error is exactly.

And you need to do it alone?

Da, but that is no problem. I am perfectly capable of doing it by myself.

It'll work eventually, as long as you act like a man and don't give up!

I said nothing about giving up. But the captain wanted it as soon as I could deliver, so this is rather frustrating.

Good! Then it'll work eventually!

I do not think eventually is a practical time frame.

Because Mr. Scott does not know of this place and I do not wish that he get sucked in as well. It is bad enough the others were forced here. And I am fully capable of doing it without help.

Great. So that's what that was about. You sure you know what you're doing down there?

Positive, sir. It should be fine after I find my error.

Good luck with that. This whole damn thing is an error.

It will not take luck, sir, just a bit of time. The luck might be needed when convincing Mr. Scott to let me near the machines again. He might be...what is the phrase? Gun shy?

Mr. Scott?

It's always good to have the right formulas! It's hard to do physics without them!

Our engineer. He is very protective of the equipment.

Da, I should be able to correct it, but it will take a bit of time. If they aren't correct then getting the transporters to work will be very improbable.

He should be! You never know who'd try to steal it!

That's no good....I'm sure you'll figure it out!

I do not think anyone on the ship would steal equipment.

Spasiba. I will just have to keep trying until I do.
