I've been hearing the drones talk about... Jul. How do people celebrate it in this time? They've been talking about trees 'n gifts. I don't quite follow, but it sounds interesting.

...When is it going to snow, anyways? Back home everything was usually covered with a foot or so by now 'n it was a lot colder. This is practically spring to me.

M'not sure. I'll have to listen around and find out what people do during this time. It's probably going to be a lot different than what we're used to. [He'd feel a lot better if Denmark were here to do this. He can't do charismatic party planning.]

[The probably should let Finland do it, he's the other chatty Nordic, after all. But Finland is no leader. Plus Sweden will feel strange enough with his not!dad even there... Not that he doesn't want him there. It will just feel strange.

That reminds him.] What 'bout our ass'gned families? [He doesn't know what his sisters will do this month.]

What about 'em?

[He doesn't know about his own family either--He's usually kept to himself despite his curiosity towards his not!sibling and not!dad.]

For Christmas? Ah, I should always have some free time. Why, did you have plans...?

[He sounds tickled. He's been trying to fight off another bout of homesickness brought on by the holiday season, this will help.]

[This is where you get to meet the secretive shy side of this country!]

Do ya wanna... Come to dinner.

[Opens his mouth.

Closes it.

Opens it.

Closes.

...He really needs to think these things through more.]

I'm not sure yet. Maybe... Day before Jul--On Jul could be nice, but after that thing with the cooked birds I don't know what'll happen.

[There's that cautious side his older self picked up!]

That sounds like a great idea! I've already bought almost all of my decorations and I've started to get presents and make other plans as well! My birthday is in three days and with the Saint Lucia festival coming up there's no time to spare!

[He could ramble forever.]

[His birthday? Craaaap.]

...Explain the concept of this holiday in this time for me. I'm not quite following.

It's a little different back at home, but in America you put up a big tree in your house and decorate it with lights and other ornaments. Then you buy presents for your friends and family and give them out on Christmas day! And then you have a nice Christmas dinner with your family.

And Santa comes to everyone in town if they've been good this year!

[Oh you just had to say that, Finland--Now he doesn't know what to get Crowe. He'll just start tapping a pen on the table.]

...Can ya help?

Santa?
