I've been hiding in an imaginary cave during this election year. I've never been so worried/just plain scared about an election. I've been thinking a lot, reading a lot, in hopes of making a reasonably informed decision. I still don't know quite who I will be voting for on tuesday, but I know at least one candidate that will not have my vote for the top spot. I have friends that I love dearly, that I just can't engage with, lately, due to differing beliefs, or even similar beliefs but they are very vociferous in discussion, for want of better terminology....

Anyway, I have a date with my husband to walk to our local polling place together on Tuesday. I don't try to tell my friends HOW to vote, but to just *please do vote*.

<3 <3 <3 I miss you, Russ!

I voted already. But I'm having anxiety attacks about this election. Not just the possibility of the wrong guy winning, but the attitudes that have been stirred up even if he loses. The fact that over half the males in this country favor someone who boasted of sexual assault is not a trauma I'll get over, even if my candidate wins.
