Watch me say something controversial: In the mid 1990s, most of the CDs that I wanted cost $25-$30. In mid-1990s dollars. I bought one or two per year, after careful thought. Now, they cost $10-$15, $17 at most. I buy a dozen in a year. Most of the price drop happened around 1999, before MP3s were generally available.
I'm not convinced by the arguments against parallel imports.
