It's sad that you can't see a movie now-a-days with dancers that are truly gifted dancers! I saw "Shall We Dance" the other day and the movie had it's moments. Jennifer Lopez is an amazing dancer, but it's kinda hard for me to harness the inspiration that her dancing has. When I dance I'll often try and picture someone dancing in my mind. Did you ever see the Japanese version it's based on? Better from what I can tell. (I haven't watched all of the JLo version, but caught part of it on the train)

I didn't even know about the Japanese version until I saw the preview for it on the American version. Do you really think it'd be worth seeing? I think I might start watching movies less now that I'm no longer in a sick state, but I dunno, I'm kinda getting into catching up on all these movies that I've missed out on.

I really liked it, but then again, I'm not entirely sure how useful it is to watch basically the same movie twice :)

OH MY GOSH You HAVE to see the original!
I cried when I saw they were coming out with the new version- I haven't seen it but it doesn't matter, I know they still butchered it. One of the main points of the movie was based around asian culture and that is why it made it so meaningful...

Aw shoot, too bad WhiteFang, Voteveno, and I watched it like two days ago.. it's really good, you gotta see it! I totally want to see the new one, I bet it's bad..

Actually, if we were going to do a movie night, I'd be more for viewing older movies. You know, like stuff with Fred and Ginger in it. I've already seen all the movies on the list, and don't care to revisit them... EVER!!! :)

Yeah! I've actually been really wanting to watch those old movies too.. too bad White Fang's leaving, we'll do it first thing when she gets back
