Zara has started lingering at the house, something she ordinarily never does, sitting on her mattress and sewing for hours at a time for absolutely no reason at all. The good thing, though, is that it's making her cough a little better to spend more time aboveground, but she doesn't know why she's doing it

He comes up, for he doesn't know what reason. Maybe to assure himself it's still there, or just by coincidence. Either way, Kay finds himself at the door, and doesn't know whether or not to knock.

"Come in," Zara says, after a few moments. She doesn't miss people.

"You're still here," he comments, as he comes in.
