Appearance:
Dimitri has gray eyes like his brother, only his are much warmer and friendlier. His hair, a Rejkavich-twin trait, is red and black, with swooping bangs to the right side of his face, only his are more messy than Dominique's, and are black instead of red. The rest of his hair is red, and the ponytail at the nape of his neck is one inch longer than Dominique's, giving him a more wild look compared to his neatly-kept brother.
Dimitri, like his brother, is naturally slim, but any and all exercise comes from playing sports and wandering around on foot. He has a much softer, childish complexion, though he always seems to have a bruise somewhere on him, mostly on his face along with a band-aid from practice. When he gets into a sport he plays to win, and the fact that he needs showers more than most is a good example. Like his brother, he has a golden earring in his left ear.
Dimitri wears his uniform like Dominique does, only un-tucked and more lose. His casual style is short-sleeved T-shirts, cargo pants/shorts, bracelets, a ring his mother gave him that he wears on his right pinky, and zip-up hoodies.
Personality:
Though at first sight/meeting one might not think of Dimitri as the conniving, plotting snake-in-the-grass that he is, but the truth is that he’s just as two-sided as his brother. He is highly devoted to what/who he loves, believes in "an eye for an eye" (though not to the extent of his brother's beliefs), and oddly enough does hide his emotions often. He always aims to succeed and do the best he can in everything he does, and takes the time to think about his actions first. In any sport he plays, this is sometimes not the best thing to do, but he's learned to adapt to the various games seeing that he's quite competitive.
Unfortunately, he's very self-critical. If he thinks he's done something wrong, he'll psychologically beat himself up about it but tell everyone he's just fine, hiding behind his trademark, happy-go-lucky smile. Like Dominique, his beloved twin, his eyes can't lie, only his problem is worse, seeing that he's more emotionally sensitive than his detached brother. While he acts like a moronic child, Dimitri is actually quite wise and intelligent. He loves to tease people and play games (as does Dominique), and is always up for a new challenge.
However...when it comes to relationships, Dimitri's not that well off. Being extremely loyal, devoted and loving, he's blind to any imperfections that his partner may hold. While Dominique would spot these faults immediately, criticize them and leave the person to dwell on sharp exaggerations of their own faults, Dimitri chooses to simply ignore them, for he doesn't want to "betray" his lover. He tries to keep the peace, and although he may seem/act like a push over puppy most of the time, he can easily switch to an authoritative position when need be. And no matter what, he stands by his brother and puts him first for just about everything, despite Dominique's objections. Other than those who mean something to him, Dimitri ignores the presence of anyone he deems unimportant.
As far as his actual sexuality goes, he tends to flirt with all those who have made it into his circle of people he likes without really realizing he's flirting with them. Unfortunately, teachers make their way into this category, too. He's a seductive fox when he's in his natural habitat, but when he tries to be seductive...well, it doesn't always work. He's better with his words and teasing than he is in a serious situation. He suspects that once he finds someone he really wants, someone he really desires, he'll be rid of that little fault for at least those moments. Oh yes, he's also quite the possessive little bugger and can possibly be violent about it.
History:
Dimitri has lived a very happy, carefree childhood with his loving parents and lovable (but hateful) twin. He's always been there to help Dominique when he was getting picked on, and took his prideful twin's the yelling in stride once the saving was done, knowing that he had offended Dominique by helping him. It didn't bother him as much as Dominique would have liked; Dimitri knew he was doing the right thing and that was all that mattered.
When he was about 5 years old, Dominique was attacked by a poisonous snake and nearly died. During the time that the young boy was in the hospital, Dimitri felt as if he was also dying. He was throwing up from worry and eventually contracted a high fever. To this day the twins hold a deep bond together, and both know when something is wrong with the other. That was just how things were.
Also during their childhood, Dimitri decided that he wanted them to be as twin-like as possible. He began copying what Dominique did and forced said twin to do the same. For example, every morning at breakfast Dimitri would drown his food in maple syrup, proceed to do the same with Dominique's food, and over time Dominique couldn't eat pancakes without drowning them in syrup despite how much he hates sweets. Dimitri's love for sweets comes from his mother, and his diehard love for condiments--his favorite type of food--comes from...well, it comes from himself.
During junior high the twins were nearly never separated; this was Dimitri's fault. He clung to his twin, and it took until their sophomore year in high school for him to leave Dominique's presence on his own. He had been introverted to the point of worrying his parents, but for some reason he decided one day that he wanted to be his own person. Dominique--who had discovered this need for individuality a long time ago--was pleased to finally have his bothersome brother off his arm. They both did well in school, but Dimitri surpassed his twin with flying colors. He graduated high school in the top 10% of his class--which bothered him, he was expecting a higher grade--and made his way to college right after. He excels in sciences, namely Physics.
