I lost a lot this post, mainly because for the last few days I was eating bread and avocado dip, and drinking nothing but water and maybe cranberry juice with a lot of ice in it. AND THEN I ate half a pizza, half a pint of ice cream... yeah. I went to Chinatown tonight and ate a lot there, too. But at least I'm conscious of stuff. Whatever. Weight... meh. I'm trying to 1) get comfortable with myself and 2) get fit. Somewhat contradictory.
and I WISH I WERE COMING.
in terms of keeping your voice nice, DON'T whisper, that's the worst for it. drink a lot of water and some tea. stay away from dairy, it's bad for your voice anyway. take vitamin C.

my zhidskii concert on sunday is shaping up to be AWESOME, despite the obvious. some of the pieces require solos -- two of our soprano soloists are first-years, and absolutely AMAZING. one of the most beautiful sounds in the world is a pure soprano. I was madd jealous, until my friend next to me told me a beautiful alto voice is much rarer. And I felt better.
