Ok, so I broke down and bought it--The 15th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, the Manual of manuals for academia. 956 pages, $55.00 ($59.26 after tax). I swear I'm bipolar. Last night I hated academia. Today, I love it. This is my cycle. Women get PMS; I get PPS (Pre-Ph.D. Syndrome). What the heck is my problem
