Actually, I don't know anything about him at all. I don't follow sports. I've never heard of him.

But I was thinking of writing a blog post on how we justify our allegiances to various things by pointing out the celebrities who agree with us, and then invoking the names and stories of as many famous Orthodox folks as I could to point out that it's all quite meaningless. I'll be sure to mention him.

I bet Tom Hanks and Tina Fey will like my post.

Um....thanks? Feel free to cite him in your allegiances. Looks like he's had some "tax trouble" of late. You could cite him along with Rod Blagoevich....yeah, that'd be a convincing justification...or not. :-p

It's good that you write in Russian...it's helpful for me! Unfortunately, I am not coming to Russia this summer. I am finishing my master's degree in counseling, and I need to save money. But I hope to come next summer.

Please tell Fr. Alexander and your mother hello. I hope you will post photos from your summer adventures!
