I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time, and it was only a beta! I messed around with both a Sylvari and an Asura this past weekend, but I'll continue to play a Charr Elementalist on live. Not that the Asura/Sylvari were bad, but I love the look of the Charr too much. Maybe if the Asura could have more than grey/brown skin colors I'd play one at the start, but shades of grey just felt dull

We worked pretty hard on crafting in the first beta but it was so broken that it would just randomly not work. I stopped at that point and never bothered again. Inventory space while doing it was a constant pain but, assuming they don't fix it for live, you can have the bank, vendor, inventory and crafting windows all open and do it from anywhere.

I expect a tolerable inventory space will be something we pay for.

Every crafting profession besides Cooking was tolerable on bag/bank space. But dear god the amount of bag space cooking takes up is sickening. But with food buffs giving magic find, and hell any kind of buff its still tempting to go cooking...i don't know :(

I never ended up getting Tera. Though I liked what I played, I decided to wait and see how it panned out. I had an urge to play it recently and spoke to two friends about it and they ranted how horrible the end game was. I may still try it for real in the future but we'll see.

I don't care about the endgame because I will never have time for that sorta grind anymore. I'm happy playing the game and making several characters instead...

I played tera for the first month before having to subscribe. Hit max level, saw how tedious of a grind it was going to be for gear, and didn't sub. I liked the combat system in that game, and would still play it if it was free, but I wasn't about to start paying per month again for being only mildly entertained.

I'm extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog.
Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?

An old friend made it for me many years ago. I no longer have contact with her, sadly. Equally painful is that some of the images were stored on my old ftp which is long dead. I may have them to restore things, but possibly not. OH WELL.

Thanks for the compliments. This was always an MMO blog with some other elements thrown in. I stopped play MMOs to any hardcore level years ago, got old and got employed. I still love to write I just never make the time for it nowadays. I always plan to do a small write up of the games I played throughout the year but I even neglected doing that last year.

I toy with the idea of starting a new blog somewhere else though if I do that I could just as well keep it going here.
